On my way to Lefkada ,Google Maps sent me on a dirt goat trail going through rivers and descending concrete stairs into an empty village : I finally met “Hercules “who helped me down the stairs and I had lunch in his Taverna. On my way after lunch it again sent me through a dirt road fit for an off-road bike: I did 6Km in 3 hours ! Eventually this caused me to loose my transmission.

I finally dropped my 350 Kg Goldwing,waited a couple of hours and some very kind Greeks  who had also gone wrong helped me pick the bike up and get out of this mess. We met up in Lefkada and had dinner together.
